'Cornwall's 100% Original Dub Club & the Home of the Cornwall VW Jamboree'
The
Cornwall Volkswagen Owners Club was founded in the late 1960s by a
group of like minded enthusiasts. The club disbanded during the
1970s and was reformed in the early 1980s. Since then it has been going
from strength to strength. We welcome anyone who either has a VW
or is just an enthusiast, Aircooled and Watercooled are equally welcome.
     We are a friendly, family club - a club run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts! CVWOC is a member of the Association of British VW Clubs (ABVWC), a national body which links VW clubs from all over the UK. Through the Association, more discounts are available to CVWOC members, many of whom have already taken advantage of the discounted car insurance & RAC/AA membership. The club publishes a bi-monthly newsletter providing a means of communication for all club members, there are also free Wanted and For Sale adverts for all members. When you join the club you will receive a club sticker, membership card and membership file which contains details of the club contacts, discounts scheme and in which you can keep your newsletters. When you join, why not email or send us a photo and a bit about your car? We are always looking to feature club cars in the newsletter and on this website. We offer a wide range of social events that are held on a monthly basis, such as Camping Weekends, Quiz nights, Bowling, Sunday Cruises, we even have a Christmas Party. Families with children are also most welcome, above all we offer a friendly atmosphere. If you are thinking about becoming a member why not come along to a meeting first to see what we're all about?    Although the vast majority of our meetings are in Cornwall, we do have members from all over the country and anyone regardless of where they live are more than welcome to join. We go to some of the major VW shows throughout the year so you can always come along and say hello then or come and camp in the club area at the Jamboree. The
annual subscription to CVWOC is just £12 PER PERSON PER YEAR, for
a single member subscription. Family membership is available for
£20.00
per annum and covers 2 adults living at the same address and all of
their children aged 16 years and under. Membership is renewable
annually in September, however from March until the end of September
each year membership reduces to £8.50 for
Single membership and £15.00 for Family. The
current membership cost is £12
per person & £20.00 per
family and will give you membership until the end of September
